Tampere’s public sauna in Eteläpuisto
A public sauna is a shared sauna anyone can visit, with no membership and no sauna of your own. Suomen Saunateltat is in Eteläpuisto, Tampere, right next to the city centre.
We open the saunas on 7 October 2026 at 16:00 and hold the grand opening on 10 October 2026 from 11:00 to 18:00.
There are changing rooms, toilets, showers, four sauna tents and one sauna container. Up to 45 people can sauna at the same time.
The kiosk sells drinks, wings, sausages and sauna products. Book a one-hour session on this page.

How a sauna session works
1. Book a session
Choose a time in the calendar at the bottom of this page. A session lasts one hour.
2. Arrive on time
If you are not here on time, we will give the place to the next people in the queue.
3. Change into sauna clothes
Changing rooms and showers are on site. Please wear a swimsuit in the sauna.
4. Choose a tent
Harmony, Aroma, The Sauna Boss or Chatty. You can try more than one during the same session.

Tampere is known as a sauna city. Suomen Saunateltat is a public sauna in Eteläpuisto for anyone who does not have a sauna of their own.

For anyone coming alone, a group of friends, a birthday, a stag or hen party, or a work group. For a larger group we can arrange a private session.

Do I need to book a session?
We recommend booking a one-hour session in advance. There is room for 45 guests. You can also come without a booking if the calendar still has space.
What should I bring?
A swimsuit and a towel. Towels and drinks are also sold on site.

Yes. A private session outside opening hours starts from €199 per sauna, or €699 for all five saunas.
